"This was my second time at the Myrtle’s, and it will not be my last. Lord willing. Everyone involved with the property is very kind and knowledgeable about the historic past. We didn’t have a spooky experience, but just being there was magical. "

"The house size was great- we enjoyed the location. House has a few issues that if fixed would make the space awesome. We had 10 people staying here with plenty of room for everyone. House has a few issues like leaking shower and wonky kitchen floor that were a tiny bit concerning. Host was very nice. House could use a few more things for guests to use such as kitchen pots and pans. Overall we enjoyed our stay."

"This was our 3rd stay at the Melody house and it’s always the best little getaway! Everything about the home is perfect, and the town of st. Francisville is precious! We are planning a trip booking both homes soon with more family coming and we absolutely can’t wait! Pam is so kind and responsive! We absolutely rate the Melody house 10/10! "

"The property was exactly what we needed. Plenty of room, beautiful view on the water, and the home was just as beautiful. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed and all the beds had the most comfortable bedding. We spent our mornings playing mahjong on the screen in porch while drinking coffee and looking at the water. During the day we went shopping in Saint Francisville and had dinner at the Myrtles. We will definitely be going back. The town of New Roads was so cute. It was raining...
