"Lovely night away, room was on the small side, but still lovely. Would have been nice to have a table and couple Of chairs right by the big window. Also the corner of the bathroom door and skirting by the shower was peeling due to wetness from shower. The breakfast was absolutely incredible and the cocktails in bar, even though pricey at £14.50 are amazing. "

"Hotel amenities to a high standard, commensurate with it's location and settings. Only downside is that most double beds are King Size (5' width) and some can be separated into twin singles, with each measuring 2' 6". So if two people want to share a bedroom but have separate beds, it will be a narrow single bed. "

"I saw previous reviews and think some people just moan for the sake of it, my stay and twin room did exactly what it needed to, the room though basic , was adequate for our needs, yes, there were a few mouldy patches in the shower room, but you tend to get what you pay for in my experience. I would stay there again."

"Nice hotel, bit dated but the rooms were nice, clean and cosy. I just booked an overnight stay (no breakfast). It was a 1/2 drive though to Thornhill park and ride."
