"I am not sure where to begin, but our stay at the Victorian Lodge in Windsor was absolutely amazing. Hamish was a wonderful host, and we could've stayed forever. There is something special about being in the English countryside, and our stay at the Lodge almost felt like we were inside of a storybook. If you want to be close to London/Windsor, but away from the crowds and the noise, you will not regret staying here. We had no issues getting food delivered, or getting rides to/from the lodge....

It was a quick drive to many towns and had easy access to unlicensed transport so we could go into London. The property manager was kind and quick to offer assistance whenever we needed anything. "Booked 3 nights for my daughters 50th birthday. We fortunately had the sunniest and warmest days of the year, so the younger ones were able to use the heated pool and jacuzzi. House very well appointed and equipped. The gardens are large and the rear extends down to the Thames where there is seating to watch the boats go by. "This is the place to go if you're looking for a peaceful stay in nature. The cottage is close to hiking trails and all you hear are birds singing.We arrived to a basket of generous snacks, and the kitchen is stocked with everything you need for a family get together.Tim and his family were super helpful and made us feel welcome and at home.A weekend was simply not enough! We wanted to stay longer.. Highly recommended!"

"Accommodations were very basic. No essentials were provided, soap, shampoo, paper towels, tissues, salt, and pepper. It would be a big plus too have a couple more hooks and shelves in the bathroom to be able to place things. Another chair in the main living area would be helpful. Plan to bring everything with you. The gardens were beautiful and very relaxing. Overall worked for us."
