Loved the amount of technology and what was provided. For future bookers, just know that the bathroom situation is definitely rough, which they did warn us of. "We had to go down for my brother's wedding. The location was within an easy 20-ish minute drive and was still far enough away to not be in town while still being easy to get to things. It was nice and we really enjoyed it."

"We were there for our daughter's graduation from App State. It was a great place for family members to gather to celebrate that event. There were no major issues with the property. We knew there was work going on in the basement and that was not a bother. We would have liked to have had more mirrors. With 6 people staying and only mirrors in the bathrooms, it was difficult to get timing right. A full-length mirror in each of the bedrooms would have been nice. There was damage to the drywall...

"Laurel Mountain is an absolutely beautiful place. Our 2 horses loved the safe, grassy pasture and it was so nice to see them out the back door and while we sat in the hot tub. Due to the storm there were only 6 trails open but they were a good mix of easy to moderate difficulty level. The house is also very nice and super clean. The owners advised us to pack food as there are no grocery stores nearby, which was good advice. We were able to stay in the house and enjoy the peacefulness...

"Beautiful sunrise, it was the home in the mountains , I always wanted. The children explored mountain and creek. We could have stayed forever. We ate blueberries and apples and tried a very hot pepper. All on this beautiful property. Cooked out on the grill. It is perfection. "

"Secluded but close to everything very clean and well kept excellent kitchen for preparing evening meals Would definitely rent again "

Fireplace is for looks and not to be used.

"The floors werent as clean and there was some dust bunnies. The road outside was noisy even during the night. Having a daybed in the living room isn't comfortable sitting. Everything else okay. Weve stayed in many vrbos so our opinion is weighted by others. Great host, though."

"We traveled to Lenoir, NC for our youngest son’s wedding. My traveling companions consisted of, myself, my husband, our eldest son, his wife and my mom in law. Edith, was a great host, the place was so clean and tidy, and it felt like home. Definitely will come back again!"
