"Perfect location 3 blocks from Malecon. Walking distance to the portales plaza area. Staff was friendly and willing to help. Any question or concerns we had were quickly addressed. There are areas to improve but take into consodation price reflects what you payed for. "

"Enjoyed our stay at hostal de cortes. Location was great with easy access to the beach, centro, aquarium, malecon. Lots of places to eat with varying price range, but something everyone's budget. Our room had a balcony but we didn't really use it as it's not very private. Check in was easy, staff friendly. Mini fridge in the room would have been great as we had to go downstairs everyday to get ice. We chose the breakfast included option and it was always tasty breakfast and they gave good...

"Hice esta reservación para mis padres y fue terrible. El piso en donde estaban tenía tarimas amontonadas en el piso. El baño justo abajo de la regadera MUY PELIGROSO. Mi padre se resbaló. Por año nuevo 1,300 pesos por noche es un robo. No lo vale y no lo recomiendo. I made this reservation for my parents and it was terrible. In the corridor they were on had pallets piled up on the floor. The bathroom right below the shower is VERY DANGEROUS. My father slipped. For New Years 1,300 pesos per night is a steal. It's not worth it and I don't recommend it. "

Family vacations at Veracruz

"Front desk attendant Wendy was very polite she attendant or needs with a superv service . She had no problem and attended my request for a second key for both of the rooms I rented . The room was very comfy and had a good view of the city and part of the shore line . The bell boy was very help full in pointing near by places to start our vacation adventure in the city . Our car was taken by car valet and was very good taken care off it was parked very near the hotel parking lot that has closed circuit cameras . The location is awesome of the hotel every thing and I do mean everything is in a walking distance . Give this hotel a try you will not be disappointed . Also try the bar it is a small one but the music is loud and really good our lady d.j was the best she took in requests from our table . Had a piña colada a cuba libre drink and some beers!! Very affordable prices . Thumbs up again for all staff ... Only the manager at the time he was very serious person would hurt if he would be more friendly and pop a smile from time to time . Customers love to feel welcome and appreciated ... Thank you Wendy again you are the best"
