"The staff is so so helpful and deserve heaps of praise. My husband fell sick and they helped me find a pharmacy and an international hospital. The gentleman at the desk walked me to the pharmacy and translated for me. The guest service folks helped me find an international hospital and booked a taxi to take us there in 2 minutes of making the request The only downside is the gym and the lack of vegan options for meals. Breakfast is also a bit limited, but the chef helped me find vegan options."

"Stayed in many hotels during my 2 weeks around China and this was the only one with obvious "classical luxury" vibe from overall design to the small amenities. King sized bed and duvet were super comfortable. Amazing Bund view but be noted it's towards the North Bund, not the old Bund. Staff were efficient, I had a small issue with the bath tub and a technician arrived at my room door for fixing within a couple minutes. Staff at the lounge were kind and attentive.
