"We really enjoyed the Sheraton and cannot wait until after their renovation to try staying again! We did have some issues within our room that were due to age but overall it was a good visit. It was super convenient to all the places we wanted to go and was perfect for our needs during this visit. The staff was wonderful and the hotel was very clean! I would recommend this place for anyone who visits!! "

"The lobby was beautiful!! It had a Starbucks. We loved the location because it’s near several sights we wanted to see. We liked the size of the room since we had a suite with 2 bathrooms. However the beds were at most double sized not queen like we reserved. My husband and I aren’t big people and we barely fit on the bed together. I understand the hotel is old but the paint was chipped off. The shower head only shot out hard. The fine print said they charged for you to use the refrigerator but...

"We had an amazing stay for a special birthday weekend for our son who turned 12. The front desk staff went above and beyond to help him celebrate and feel special. The doormen and valet staff were also amazing and super helpful. The rooms were great too. Will definitely stay again. "

"The hotel location was great as a base for sight seeing, especially with South Ferry subway station just over the road from the hotel next to the Staten Island Ferry terminal. Our room was clean and the view over the water from our room at the front of the hotel was good. Unfortunately the people in the room next door were noisy (loud TV, talking, laughing and singing!) till 03:30AM the first night (Saturday), but on subsequent nights it was ok. "I would stay At Arlo again. The staff is wonderful. Everyone is pleasant and greets you with a smile. The room was definitely cozy ( aka small) but it was clean. Breakfast was delicious. And the fact that there is parking near by was a plus. "
