"Armand (owner) was very helpful, even though I was only there for a very short time. He allowed me a flexible check in and was very friendly. He brought breakfast to my room in the morning. I didn't really explore the area but I know Lyon fairly well. It was a 20 minute walk to Part-Dieu Station but of course you could get a direct bus or tram easily. A taxi cost me £13 from Part Dieu to the property. It is exactly as described."

"We had a lovely stay at the property. We loved the history and beauty of the historic house and grounds. Our room had everything we needed and was very comfortable. The breakfasts included classic French breads, juice, homemade yogurt, jams and coffee. The pool was fantastic. Our hosts made us feel welcome and at home. "

"La chambre est très spacieuse et parfaitement rénovée. Tout est impeccable (douche, télé, lit, table et chaises pour manger, accès possible à une cuisine), mais par contre nous avons eu très froid ! Certes il y a un radiateur, mais bloqué sur 16⁰, et vu la température extérieure et l'isolation, il faisait bien frais dans la pièce. Ce n'est pas agréable, nous avons dû dormir avec plusieurs couches de vêtements. Dommage car sinon c'était cool, mais ça nous a vraiment gâché la nuit."
