"The villa is only a short hilly walk from the village, great for buying your fresh bread for breakfast in the morning. Nice location great views and very quiet. The pool is gorgeous so warm and the caretaker cleans it a couple of times during the week. You can hire bedding and towels, but would advise you take own towels as the hire ones are only bath towels and not bath sheets so a little small. "My partner and I enjoyed our stay in Pontevès. The village is very small but provided you have a car (which is a must!), you can get to everything very quickly. The area has many activities to offer and even +7 days was not enough time for us! Josette and Patrick were lovely. We had an issue with our car and they were very quick to help us out - thank you so much again! Their property is lovely and peaceful. Lovely pool with lots of different areas of the garden to enjoy. Very well equipped with all you will need. Tourtour is a 15 minute walk away. "What can I say, this was one of our favourite holidays! The villa has everything you could need, great pool, outdoor living, table tennis, boule. Set in nature you can unwind very quickly. The bedrooms are quiet and cool on an evening with air con if you need it. The track up to the house is bumpy however after a few times you soon get used to it. An Intermarché just down the road for all your supermarket supplies, we enjoyed visiting the night market in Carces. We have 2 children aged 11 and 8...

"We are tennis fanatics so it was lovely to have a private court in good condition in the grounds. Played every day. Nice pool to cool off. Villa was spotless and spacious and all the appliances worked. Be aware that towels are not provided. Dealing with Vrbo was not easy. We needed to talk to them about a French legal requirement for liability insurance and the only contact number I could find was a USA premium rate line. Cost me £35 for a 7 minute conversation and they failed to call me back...
