"The property was beautiful and overall we enjoyed our stay! The pool and the available excursions made it very enjoyable. Our only criticism is that we we’re originally told the restaurant would be open the first night we were there and it wasn’t. Instead we got a “pizza party” this was fine except the cost was not presented to us prior. The pool was also closed early due to a wedding. It would have been nice to know this prior to our stay because it lead to a bit of disappointment. It would...

"An amazing and relaxing stay. Great place. Staff were accommodating. Alfredo and Melissa were lovely. The rooms were clean and tidy. Had everything you needed and short drives to lovely parts of Tuscany. The homemade olive oil and wine were also a highlight. "

"Podere Castallare is in a beautiful location. Unfortunately we did not have a relaxing stay. Music was played at full volume directly into our bedroom from the bar from around 4pm - 11pm every day. It was so loud we could not spend time in our room. The air conditioner was broken and not fixed. We were treated rudley at dinner by the manager, which added to the tension in the atmosphere."

"A relaxing place to stay! The grounds were beautiful and staff was great. I would say that having a car is important if you plan on using this as your home base to explore Tuscany. Breakfast was wonderful and the fact that this is adults only makes the property feel more tranquil than it would be otherwise."

"We loved the location as it was quiet and tranquil. The host Angelo was attentive and helpful. The breakfast provided was abundant, varied and delicious, could not fault it. The rooms were spacious and lovely garden setting "

"We had a wonderful stay. The host, Luca, was great to communicate with prior to check in and met us at the property despite our arrival being a bit delayed. He provided a brief history of the area and the farm and gave instructions regarding the property. He also provided recommendations on restaurants and suggestions of where to park in Florence. "Great property! LOVED the setting, in the middle of fields and countryside. You definitely need a car but it’s a very convenient drive to Florence and the rest of Tuscany. The property is beautiful, and the staff very friendly. The accommodations are in an old building so it comes with the quirkiness of it like noisy plumbing lol. We really enjoyed our stay. "
