"A truly memorable experience! The absolute sweetest family and an amazing property. The pictures shown is what you get. It’s not super modern, but everything is very clean, the air conditioning was lovely, it’s comfortable and peaceful. Very very central to everything. "Location was amazing with some of the best views of Matera. One can just enjoy from the comfort of the room in the private balcony or with just windows open. While we had to carry the luggage down to the property, proper research would have suggested the public transport that we could have been used to minimize the hassle. Breakfast here was excellent with so many choices, including some fresh food. Their offer to store luggage after checkout is a good option to avail."

"The staff was fabulous; both helpful and kind. We were unaware that caves are humid, which was our naivete. Breakfast was ample. Our cave was large and had lots of places to sit comfortably, inside and out. The only reason the stay was not 100% excellent was the humidity inside the cave despite running dehumidifiers and air conditioning. Having a sweet dog on premises was a bonus!"
