"Incredible elegance on the top of a mountain. Views are breathtaking. Detail to renovation and architecture cannot be described adequately. The staff are the best I have found worldwide. "Very quiet with exception some loud motorcycles in the street nearby. Oyamado, the care-taker is a very helpful and kind man. Massimo, the owner and Oyamado do a very good job keeping the place in order. The escalator to the Main Street leading to San Lorenzo and restaurants are just 10 seconds away from the Hotel. Very convenient, and close to Perugia Train Station as well. One downside is that there is no elevator, the but the steps are not too many."

"I loved the individuality of this property - all the little touches such as the wine presses; the printing press and all the photos showing the development of the property. The hosts, Steve and Scott were very hospitable and made us feel very welcome. The wine tour with Miriana was excellent. I would thoroughly recommend and hope to return."

"It was an absolutely incredible stay, so much that we didn't want to leave! Everything was superb, from the transfer via private boat to the warm welcome, from the wonderful rooms to the delicious food served at the Villa's restaurant. It was indeed a truly unique experience, as we were told at the beginning by the lovely and caring Maria Concetta. We will definitely go back. "

"We cannot say enough good things about our stay at Podere. The facilities are absolutely gorgeous and the setting is hard to beat. The staff are absolutely incredible, especially Selene and Mario. Selene went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed. I highly recommend eating dinner at the restaurant, as the food is incredible. We cannot wait to come back here again. "

"Apartmenthotel. We visited the hotel at the end of the season. Most hotels were closed. Probably it will look different in springtime after a refresh. It was not dirty, only small imperfections. Simple and old-fashion furniture but the bed was ok. Staff very gentle. Breakfast ok. Lovely view over the lake"

"The house and location are perfect for a family holiday, the pool is lovely and there are plenty of covered areas in the garden in which to relax when the sun gets too hot! The proprietors are very accommodating and fixed any issues (washing machine failed during our stay) immediately. The only thing to be aware of is that the region near the lake does suffer from mosquitoes which come out in the evening - so take repellent with you as it’s expensive in Italy!"
