"The apartment was large compared to my typical rentals in Italy. Separate kitchen and living room with seating and table. Both rooms and bathrooms are large. Orvieto is a walking town, but the location was about as close as you can get to main attractions and still have some solitude. "We spent wonderful week there. The hosts are very welcome and ready to give you any help you need. The place is quiet and there is beautiful panorama from the taras. The house is comfortable, clean and cosy. The jacuzzi is also amazing thing on top of it. It's a good base for visiting many places in Umbria. Personal touch of an in person welcome would have been nice but not essential. No welcome pack, which we typically experience - just to get started, we were originally due to arrive on a Sunday evening and it would have been very difficult to get essentials for first day.
