"Lovely stay at this property right on the lake. The villa itself was spacious and gorgeous. We had 2 families.. 4 adults and 3 teens, and there was space left over for more people. The property had lovely views of the lake from the property and many of the rooms. We could have just stayed at the villa the whole time and been perfectly content with the views, the villa, and swimming in the lake. There were several good restaurants in walking distance. Super spacious with fantastic library of books. We were sad to leave. Just keep in mind - it's an old house! No air conditioning so adjust expectations for summer months."

"Im Vorfeld hatten wir der Agentur eine späte Ankunft angekündigt aber die kettenrauchende Haushälterin die zwar ausgesprochen freundlich war und im Untergeschoss wohnt war nicht informiert und spricht wirklich nur italienisch sonst keine Verständigung möglich. Das Hauptproblem ist der stete Zigarettengeruch der in der Wohnung hängt und über den Hausflur und die Fenster im UG hochkommen. Die früheren Eigentümer müssen auch starke Raucher gewesen sein. Das hat uns den Aufenthalt wirklich vermiest....

"My husband and I had six nights in this beautiful villa in Baveno. It is high in the town with a 10 minute walk down to the ferries/train/bus, as the listing indicates. "I thought the villa was spacious and secure with nice views. You will need a car if staying here. Services available with a 10-15 min drive. One thing which could be improved is providing supplies such as garbage bags, more than one roll of toilet paper per bathroom, paper towels, and soap for kitchen sink and showers, as well as more towels. Laundry facilities are not present in the villa you must find a laundromat. Also provide salt and pepper, tea bags. Thanks "
