"This was by far one of the best stays we've had, either in Europe or US. Fantastic & quiet location away from the bustle of tourists. It was a very nice retreat after fighting crowds elsewhere. The owner was also extremely helpful and very friendly, we very much enjoyed talking to him. (I suggest all contact him prior to arrival as he can assist with your transportation & other items you may need.) This B&B was recommended to us and I'm so glad we stayed here in Ravello. "A unique type of "hotel". The room concept with a shared kitchen was great. You received biscuits and coffee but the equipment to have your own breakfast as well as space in a common fridge. Room was spacious with a view of the sea and private balconies. A great concept that suited our needs. Host was amazing."

"Amazing experience at the Solaria B&B The hosts are absolutely lovely and the hotel is away from all the cities' chaos. Very quiet beautiful view, access to pool and spa. Our favorite stay in our honeymoon to Italy. The hotel is quite far away from the city (20-30 minute drive) and there is not a large amount of buses available (one at 11h30 am), so longer stays or those without cars may find it difficult to move around."

"Property has an excellent location. Beautiful large balcony. Room was clean. Has coffee maker and kettle. Bed comfortable, plenty of bath towels with roomy bathroom. We arrived in the evening, found hotel though had issue finding where to check in and having to wait for reception to show up. Employees were friendly and polite. "Don’t go to this place, or his other Iris B&B / Inn. Terrible location, and nothing works. Supposed to have breakfast included - but nothing! very noisy - street traffic and honking is awful. Sleeping isn’t easy. He used my balcony as a towel drying place, which meant workers were in and out. Again, nothing works. Security box, A/C, TV, even the shower - a bolt on the shower door handle fell off while I was showering and rolled into the drain. The guy now claims he’s going to sue me for the cost...

"The area is really nice. You can go for a walk, to the beach, etc. and feel safe. However the room smells like humidity so we had to buy a scent spray. Because of the humidity the clothes do not dry so it’s complicated for long stays. The bed is not the most comfortable and it’s not completely dark. However we had a great time in Salerno and recommend it. "
