"An amazing building, a modern renovation respectful of its past. Patricia was a patient and attentive host who went out of her way to please. You need to be fit to climb the stairs but it’s all part of sharing in the heritage of this building/school/home. The town is small and has the characteristic steep lanes. We’d recommend finding a spot the locals gather and getting to know a bit about life from their perspective. We’ll be recommending this one to our friends. "

"Accueil déplorable, trois mots et vite vite il a fallu payer, la carte ne passant pas en mode scan, la personne s'est agacée en disant qu'il n'y avait pas d'argent dessus alors qu'il suffisait de l'insérer, de plus elle a été très incorrect avec notre enfant qui courait pour se dégourdir les jambes jusqu'à la chambre en souriant, en lui disant plusieurs fois doucement et en levant les yeux au ciel. "The property is beautiful with vistas of San Gimignano and surrounding vineyards. We drank wine sitting in the garden and had dinner there as well. Food was delicious. A wonderful retreat for a night on our travels through Tuscany."

"The place is pretty nice, I loved the room that my family and I were assigned. The communal kitchen/eating space is delightful. We only stayed the one night but our experience with the morning staff was great. The only issue we had was with actually finding the place, GPS took us to a different place just down the road. Not a big deal except when you're in a foreign country and don't have cell phone service to call the B&B. 5 minute drive the castle at Monteriggioni."
