"Beautiful property in the hills outside Verona. Modern rooms with all the amenities. They produce high quality wine. Nice restaurant and given the location best to eat there rather than travel at night. "

"A cheap option within walking distance of Verona train station. It’s an old but functional hotel and our room was clean. The area outside isn’t very nice for walking (a few homeless people hanging around) but the hotel has a car park so driving is an option. Also if you are coming from a big city you’ll be used to this - it’s just not the image I had in my head of Verona (opera & posh restaurants serving truffles and good wine was more my expectation)"

"The staff and service at this hotel is wonderfully old fashioned. The hotel is beautiful, with antiquate charm. The area of Abano Terme is a little run down with lots of closed buildings but this obviously isn’t any fault of the hotel and their service was so good I can overlook the area and have booked to go again already."

"The staff were really friendly at the hotel and resolved an incorrect room allocation with no issue. Rooms and food were nice and the hotel had a good vibe about it. The only thing I did not like about the hotel is the fact that I had to pay to use the pool on a weekend. It seemed to me there was no one checking other guests after I had paid. It made me feel that some had not paid and were using it for free. The rest of the stay was perfect. "

"I loved staying at this hotel. Two staff members stood out - Patrick (front desk) and Lucia (dining staff). They were polite, professional, and very good at their jobs! The only disappointing thing was the dinner. It appeared to be very disorganized, a couple of dining the staff were confused on our order and brought out an appetizer with the other persons main meal then wouldn’t bring out my meal because my dining partner had waited for my main meal to be served. My last comment is, it’s an international group and much of the dining staff did not speak English at all, which was very difficult for me and other guest, who did not speak Italian, but spoke English, French, Danish, Dutch, and so forth."
