"Nice Hotel needs some renovation done , bathrooms very old Breakfast buffet is only cake and croissants a little fruit and a few cereals "

"All facilities were closed at the hotel and areas around the hotel were full of broken bricks. The fountain was not working and completely in disarray. Breakfast was really poor. No tea/coffee facility and we had to ask for food to be brought out. This is definitely not a four star hotel. On top of that, when we came back in the evening, there was no one to be found at reception for around an hour!!!!! So anyone could have walked in and around the hotel as they have no security as such, just...

"The staff was very friendly and access to the spa was so worth the upgrade. The rooms are very basic and do their part. The views are lovely and the spa was very enjoyable. The breakfast was minimal. The parking was very convenient. Overall a decent find in a small town. "

"The Hotel De La Ville Avellino is a good choice if staying in Avellino. A 15 minute walk from Hotel thru the main street and square is easy, with many restaurant choices. Rooms clean, beds firm/ comfortable, bathroom updated -- all workable and fine. AirCond is so-so, but can open windows in cool evenings. Front desk staff very helpful and responsive"

"The property is older and needs some updating and repairs, but the staff was lovely, the food was fine for the price. The bed was okay, but certainly could have used a new mattress and the bed covering was ancient. Nevertheless, the room was a good size, the bathroom was large with a good shower, and it was clean. I would stay here again."

"The hostess and her father were considerate, courteous, and cordial. They were generous with their time for recommendations and had time for stories as well as allowed us to leave our bags in the main lobby when we had to wait for a train. Absolutely will come back on our next trip through the lovely town of Benevento."
