"We had a great time in this village. It's so small and quiet but still close to a ton of things to do. Also very close to the beach and some fantastic seafood. My only suggestion is to put some screens on the windows. You can't keep the windows and shades open due to flies getting into the house. The homeowners were so kind and flexible, letting us check in early on our arrival date. I would recommend this house for a quiet stay in a very friendly village. "We were expecting an apartment, and got a whole house! It was clean, comfortable, with awesome beds and bedding and bathrooms/towels. Location was great, it felt like being at home! I would absolutely recommend!!"

"Our stay in Batalha could have started out poorly as William notified us the night before our arrival that our reservation had not recorded properly, and there was no availability for our first night. He quickly made the situation right by finding us a great hotel in town for the first night. Olive Hill is as nice as it looks in the photos, and clearly William is cut out for his second career in hospitality. We’d definitely stay there again."

"Such a cute place! Our host was super responsive negotiating the online registration and the two remotes for the tv setup. The apartment (it feels more like an apartment to me) had a pretty mix of old furniture with modern decor. The kitchen was well-appointed, the bath was fine, and the beds were comfortable. The location for exploring this little city was great: walking distance to the funicular to the castle, close to a nice weekend market, and easy to the city center and museums."
