"The place was clean and safe. The outdoor living space was very much appreciated for some fun and relaxation. It was so peaceful at night sitting by the pool and enjoying the nature around us. The owner was very nice, very hospitable and the property manager as well. The pool was warm and clean. Our favorite moment was watching a movie outside at night while laying on the hamacas. The pool was fun too. "

"The house is in a residential part of La Parguera, about a 15 min [not very picaresque] walk from main drag. It’s a quiet, very clean, spacious home, and the owner is friendly and helpful. Only complaint we had was the check in process- not sure if the error was on part of owner or VRBO, but apparently there was some confusion on owner’s part about check in date or something. Anyway, we did not get communications from owner, including access instructions, until after we had to contact him...

"Our family visiting from Texas and some of our locals’ stayed over to avoid the noises from NYE and have a pleasant overlooking at the sea. Casa Ballena didn’t disappoint. Starting with the quietness of the community, the gorgeous views, the lush landscape and well appointed interiors felt truly special. "Dirt road could have been better explained or I wouldn't have rented the mustang!!! Host was very attentive. Property was AMAZING. will be coming back for sure. Only complaint was the drive in and the road, BUT definitely .... definitely worth it. "

"My family of 7 adults enjoyed the house immensely for our mid-week holiday. We chose the house for its central location between Lajas and Cabo Rojo, plus the gorgeous backyard and spacious living room. Beds were comfortable, the kitchen had all the appliances and utensils, and there were plenty of beach towels. "We enjoyed our stay - the house was spacious and provided a lot of room for our family of 3 adults and one teen. The pool was an extra bonus - perfect for cooling off and relaxing after a day of exploration. This area of Puerto Rico is beautiful and there is so much to see! "

"Property is as described on VRBO. Good accomodation, clean, well furnished and equipped. Lovely garden with iguana visiting daily. Boqueron town is fun, some very good restaurants and a great beach. There are excellent beaches at Buye, Combate and east of Guanica which are also close by. We stayed for a month and that was too short. We explored the major towns and resorts of Puerto Rico and Boqueron came out top."

"My wife, adult children and their significant others spent 6 wonderful nights at this lovely property. The house is magnificent and beautifully maintained. We didn't spend the first night eating off the floors, but we absolutely could have. The home has an incredible view for perfect sunsets. We saw whales from the beautiful deck!
