"The staff is nice and helpful. Its location is alright and they have got a clean & cozy lounge where people can do their things. The bathrooms were in mantainance but the ones behind the kitchen were available. Kitchen facility and free breakfast were also ok. I stayed two nights in a female dorm, which shares the entrance with another dorm. It is kind of a weird half-open space, and somehow whoever goes in or out just bangs the door. Didn't sleep much because of the noises from the roomates,...

"The room was dated but in good condition and clean. The breakfast is a but without hot items. Staff is friendly and helpful. The Hostel is quite large and it has an excellent location walkable to the city centre. Parking in a free lot outside the walls. The closest lot is about 10 minutes from the hostel."

"It is the most beautiful property I’ve stayed in throughout my 2 weeks in Portugal. There’s even a lift! Bed is comfortable, bathroom is clean and spacious. Communal areas are beautiful. The male receptionist is super helpful and friendly. I highly recommend this property. "

"The first night was terrible. They didn't have the portable air conditioner hooked up and so it was very hot. Finally I had to open a window which was also terrible. There's a 24-hour food kiosk across the street and bands of students were standing in front of it and yelling until 3:00 a.m. . The second night was not a weekend and they hooked up the air conditioner and it was fine. I gave a medium review because one night was terrible and one night was good."
