"A quiet stay in an old farm. Rooms nicely renovated. When we arrived at the time we had already advised, no one was there and we could not check in. Tried phone and text but no one answered. After about half an hour the manager arrived. Everything was fine after that but it caused us a bit of stress when we first arrived, especially as we don't speak French."

"We were met with a smile, despite our late arrival by our charming host who is friendly and welcoming. The whole house is decorated with attention to detail including the room we stayed in. The bed is so comfortable, an amazing nights sleep, next morning we were served with a traditional breakfast with fresh juice and good coffee, we stayed 2 nights, the surrounding area is beautiful with lots to see and do, so not only was it a convenient place to stop prior to the journey home, it was stylish...

Le personnel est adorable et le proprietaire nous a fait voyager avec toutes ses connaissances de la nature. "Wow! Our group loved Helene’s place. The town is 1 hour train from Paris and you can get a taxi to the house although don’t rely on Uber/bolt. The pool area is wonderful and the grounds of the house have a lot to offer. The bedrooms are large and quite a lot of them have ensuites. The second house is attached to the main house and offers a quieter space for those that want it. The only issue our group found was some struggled to sleep because the house only has windows to cool down at night...

"We were 6 in the property- grandparents, parents and children. The property was furnished to a good standard (all bedrooms are doubles but our boys shared a bed). Kitchen very well stocked. WiFi was set up with plenty of routers but didn’t work while we were there and didn’t get fixed. Pool was heated (a massive bonus) and I would guess about 8x4m in size. Supermarkets 10 mins away by car - all open Sunday mornings."
