"The property is set on the outskirts of a beautiful small village. The village has few amenities but the location is stunning, with beautiful views. "A pleasing mix of old and new, perfectly situated to take in the sights of the Auvergne - a quiet retreat after a busy day of sightseeing. The owners were lovely, and gave us quite a tour and history of the property and region, as well as fruit from the garden and delicious home-made jam. We came upon a little restaurant in the tiny nearby village of Maleville, Les Mets d'Olivia, apparently not yet well known, where we enjoyed an evening of African food and music - what a treat."

"Malcolm and Vivian where very welcoming and helpful. The views are amazing and the location is very peaceful. The house is beautiful and quirky, although if you like to cook for yourselves, the kitchen is a little short on utensils. We improvised! We had a problem with the cooker and Malcolm had it replaced the next day! We would definitely stay again."

"The property setting is beautiful! the interior and exterior is immaculate, spacious and extremely accommodating. Vincente is an excellent host, making sure all of our needs were met. I will say it is helpful to have someone who speaks French, my husband is fluent which helped tremendously since Vincente does not speak a word of English.
