A mix of modern and traditional French building. Very friendly and helpful owners, who live adjacent to the property but keep to themselves, although they only speak and email in French. "We were a group of 8 adults and 6 children all under 7 and we had a holiday to remember that met all our needs. The house is beautiful and very spacious and the garden and pool were great in the hot, sunny weather we were lucky to have. The house is set in lovely countryside with lots of walks and fresh bread and groceries just a short walk through the vineyards in Douelle. Would definitely recommend!"

"The house was exactly as advertised. It has everything you need for your stay including hairdryers! The pool is fantastic and the view from the house and pool is amazing. We spent many hours just sitting and looking! There is so much to do in the area. I definitely recommend a visit to the house and Souillac."

"Bon séjour, bonne communication avec le propriétaire des lieux, maison spacieuse pour 11 personnes ! Manque de propreté en général ! Araignées...fourmis...protéges matelas et oreillers douteux ! Dysfonctionnement des deux chasses d eau ! Malgré ce manque de propreté , la maison est adaptée pour un séjour famille ou amis au calme dans un environnement agréable ! Le plus ...un barbecue !"

The house and setting were beautiful, the pool was an absolute delight, the river was close by and deliciously cooling and everything was high quality, worked well and had been thoroughly thought through. Highly recommended. The only thing that could have improved it would be air conditioning in all the bedrooms rather than just the largest. All round though it was superb."

"Très jolie villa à côté de Souliac. Pas très loin de beaucoup de centre touristique du Périgord, une maison très propre et très agréable avec un barbecue et une piscine très calme. Les gens qu’ils ont accueilli ainsi que les propriétaires sont très sympa. Seul petit bémol si vous êtes en fauteuil roulant, prévoyez une petite rampe pour aller à l’extérieur."
