"The cottage was clean but the yard and gardens a bit unkept and a piece of garbage in the yard. Communication was friendly and timely. Checkin was a breeze. The stairs to the cottage were lit. Hanging fly traps on one hand helped keep bugs away but emitted an unpleasant odour. The photos of the cottage are very well done and made us believe the cottage was isolated. "My gf and I stayed here for a 4 day getaway. We loved the location: no visible neighbours, country setting, forest walking paths close by, and close to Morin Heights if you need something. The house if big enough for a group, but we loved the size just for the 2 of us. It was very clean, the bedroom was comfortable, lots of towels. "Our vacations are always at Fiddler Lake Resort. Over the past 12 years we have rented various chalets from a 2 bedrooms to a 6 bedrooms in winter and fall season. Best place to be for relaxing. However, some chalets are better kept and equipped than others. Chalet 23 needs some TLC in equipment and furniture. Other than that, we had a great vacation. "
