"House totally as described but slightly spooked by the monkey butler as we entered by mobile torch light. The house is obviously still used to some extent as fresh food was found in the fridge. The kitchen oven and extractor were filthy. All dishes and pans had to be washed before they could be used. Carpets and floors had not been hoovered, cobwebs also noted. "The owners of this property have done a fantastic job with the use of space, however the bed arrangements require a full review. The mattress was so uncomfortable I had little sleep the first night, and the second night we actually went home because we could not sleep again. The bed clothing also needs to be renewed, as we could not help but think that it was dirty, although it was not! There is also easy access for slugs, and these were constantly found during our stay."
