"The apartment is beautifully designed with excellent amenities. However it was let down by a very cheap and uncomfortable mattress (with no bed side tables, and side lamps that were not working). Also the lift next to our apartment was very noisy For the prices they charge, we should have stayed in a hotel."

"The Aparment is an interior unit over looking the interior roof of the building underneath. It's on the second floor right above one of the main city fresh food and fish markets. It's very centrally located right next to the main city square with walkable distance to all the main city attractions. However with that location comes really heavy noise in the evenings from several restaurants and bars downstairs until late, as well as some mornings hearing all the bottles and garbage...

"Giuseppina & Marco are great hosts, met us at the apartment and made sure that we had everything they needed. They also organised a taxi/van to collect us from the airport and to return again at the end of our stay - this included a baby seat for our baby! They also helped with our itineray visiting sights of interest and a food tour and a cookery class. Plus Bologna is the best-kept secret for an Italian holiday, so much to do and such friendly people. Very relaxing. The Red Door is in a great...

"The host was not clear on a meeting place for entry into the property and apartment. He originally had suggested at the property entrance then changed to a bar next to the property, but we didn’t have network access so the bar rendezvous did not reach us. When we finally did meet, he was very upset with us because he needed to be someplace else. Keep in mind, he did not contact us until 4 hours prior to our check-in time… very stressful."

"This apartment is perfectly located in a lovely square with great places to have a bite to eat and a beverage! Simply decorated and had everything we needed. Quiet at night and comfortable beds. We would defiantly stay here again. When you check in just get some clear direction on where to dispose of your garbage. "

"We had a really good stay in the absolute centre of Bologna. The property was very well kept though the mattress, whilst adequate, could probably do with replacing soon. The property management were very efficient and provided plenty of information to make our brief stay a good one."

"Excellent communication with various employees from Wonderful Italy who manage this property. A great location that feels part of the local community and a 15 minute walk through the porticos to the old city center. The apartment is modern, clean and well kept. We had a great overall experience."

"This is a cheap option inside the walls of the old town. Unfortunately the apartment is less than ideal - the shower head was broken, as was the wardrobe. The floors and surfaces were clean but there was lots of cobwebs and debris around the apartment in corners. It's basically an attic with a sloping roof so there isn't much headroom. I must have hit my head 10 times. "

"This is a campground. We stayed in a mobile home. The mobile home was a bit grimy. They have a good restaurant, though. If you are coming in from the Via degli Dei, go around on the road. The gate on the Via degli Dei doesn’t let you in unless you call them and someone comes to open it. They do have a free shuttle to the train station. "

"PROs: The room was well-located and had good upkeep. The breakfast was expansive and of great quality. The bed was comfy and the bathroom had nice water pressure. CONS: uninspired dinner menu. The room could have used a kettle for tea. The tub needs upkeep. Like the speaker in the bathroom but no volume control, speaker had too much static. Prefer glassware to plastic cups. The style needs updating."

"We loved the Social Hub in Bologna! The staff is very kind and its very close to the station, so it was easy for us to take day trips around the surrounding area. I could stay longer. It is also a student accommodation, but since we were on the third floor, we didn’t really hear students"
