The views are exceptional and there are many areas where you can spend time outside looking at the lake - a screened porch, open porch with rockers, lower deck, firepit and gazebo. The host was very responsive and the check in was super easy. If you're looking to relax and spend a quiet weekend on the lake, this is a wonderful option."

"My daughter and I were in Aiken for a horse show and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this adorable cottage! Very convenient to the showgrounds - about a 5min drive, easy drive from the Augusta airport - about 30min, and super close to the shops and restaurants in downtown Aiken. The house was fully equipped with everything we needed. The beds were comfortable, the neighborhood was nice and quiet - we’ll definitely be back! "

"What a wonderful house. Sarah pays so much attention to the little details. Nice to have starter coffee and creamer available, trash bags and dish soap. The kitchen has everything you need. The beds are super comfortable. The dogs enjoyed the fenced back yard, and there was a towel ready to wipe their feet before coming back in. The location is so close to Bruce's Field and downtown for dining and shopping. The neighborhood was very quiet. Would love to stay again. "

"Our three generation family group very much enjoyed our stay. The setting of the house is even better than advertised, as it sits within its own small cove where the water is much calmer than the main channel. Everyone enjoyed swimming off the dock without any concern about passing boats. The house itself was clean and roomy. On the first day of our stay, we had a few reasons to contact the owners, who provided quick responses. We are happy to recommend this home to others."

"This beautiful cottage across the street from Hopelands Gardens was the perfect home base for members of our tennis team as we competed for the SC Tennis State Championship. Six of us had the best time at this incredibly well-equipped home with lots of room and comfy furniture on which to hang out. We brought home one trophy, and fell just short of another—we will definitely have to earn a trip to States next year so we can spend another wonderful weekend at Red Top Cottage."
