Had to use our cell phone lights just to see a small sign on the door to call a number to get jn, then retrieve our room keys from a lock box. After that, was okay. "This is a quiet chateau with simple gardens. It has rooms in the Chatteau and the Orangery. We stayed in the Orangery. The room was a fair size and quite well appointed. The bathroom had been renovated to a good modern standard. The place was efficiently run. We had an excellent meal in the 109 restaurant in the cellar. Great space and great service. Overall this was a good stopover for us. "

"It was further away from the centre than we thought, our mistake. Imagine a rather rundown motel room desperately in need of an upgrade! It was very bijou but had everything we needed for a short stay: comfortable bed, a kettle and complimentary tea and coffee, a clean bathroom.
