"Lovely simple B&B in a farm in a quiet village near Cambrai. An hour and a half from Calais. Xavier is a delightful host, room is quiet and comfortable and continental breakfast is made special with the most delicious homemade jams. "

"Lovely French style B&B large bedroom, plenty of room for all the family stay. Cosy and warm. Very comfortable beds and black out shutters- ideal for a good night sleep. Breakfast had local French food, very tasty. Friendly owner and the a wealth of history in the building. The exterior does not look finished, but the interior was very nice cosy French style. A very enjoyable style . "

"Travelled to Cambrai for the first time and solo. Really delighted with the hotel - incredible value for money. Comfortable, clean, close to the rail station and close to the main square where all the shops, cafes and restaurants are. Staff were welcoming and helpful although it does help if you can speak a bit of French as only one person speaks fluent English. "Very off after hours check in process. The place was really dark and locked up. Had to use our cell phone lights just to see a small sign on the door to call a number to get jn, then retrieve our room keys from a lock box. After that, was okay. Plenty of parking, but dark area with very little lighting after hours."

"Our room for a double was very small. Also we had dog with us, so a bit cramped. No restaurant in evening due to staffing issues. Parking on street easy and can walk into town centre, about 15 minutes. Easy to find as on main road but no noise issues at night as we were at back of hotel. garden space/patio at back."

"It was lovely and clean and the bed was comfy. It was on what seemed like an industrial estate and had lots of road works going on, not very picturesque. The breakfast wasn't great, they ran out of things, the restaurant was closed for the weekend. One staff was lovely, one was ok, a little dismissive. Overall, good if it's just a overnight stop you need by the train. But not really as a holiday stay."

"Found this place absolutely delightful, and wish I had booked 2 days so I could explore what looked like a lovely town.. Room was lovely, clean, comfortable. My only "issues" were 1. The parking is on road parking, which is fine, but you could end up parking quite far down the road like I had to. 2. The stairs. I battle with stairs and there were 4 flights to get up to my room. So, if like me you battle with stairs, this isn't ideal for you. But otherwise, absolutely delightful!"

"A good central location with parking and friendly staff. Two reservations. First the double room was very small indeed, with no a/c and the conversion had left low ceilings and small windows. We were much too hot. Second the breakfast was only adequate. Great location and lots of space

"This property is in a convenient location with lots of parking and close to anything you need in cambrai. Could be a good base for touring Vimy Ridge and other WW1 war sites. It’s spacious. We were a family of 4 adults and had lots of room. Many stairs in this house so make sure everyone is physically well. Cambrai is a lovely city that maintains its true French heritage. We will be back."
