"What a wonderful place to stay the kindness and helpfulness shown to us was amazing and made us feel very special. Nothing was too much trouble. An excellent break and introduction to Portugal. We will be back to experience more of this gem of a hotel. "

"The hotel was like a hidden gem, the staff were really welcoming, friendly and couldn’t do enough for our family. A very nice beautiful location with easy access to water parks, beaches and historical/culture interest staff are very knowledgeable about what’s on in the area. Very much recommend the hotel organising a boat trip as the caves are absolutely stunning. Our family had a great holiday and will be booking to go again. We’ll definitely book again."

"Fantastic hotel-clean, comfortable, modern rooms in a quiet rural setting. Short 10 minute drive to town. The breakfast was incredible-farm fresh and delicious. We cannot say enough positive things about Quinta da Luz…except that our stay was too short."

"This is a very unique property with a lovely hostess, Dolly. It’s small and intimate with only room for 5 families. The view from the terrace is spectacular and the beach is convenient. The rooms are very clean, large and comfortable. You can tell that Dolly takes pride in providing a good experience for guests. She cares!! There are however a lot of protocols which is the reason for 4 stars instead of 5. Every guest has 2 lounge chairs with cushions, 2 chairs without cushions and a large...

"I had the best stay at Tapada do Gramacho with Karim and Kate. They looked after me so well and I didn't wish for anything the whole stay. "

"Right off the main tourist walk but not so close as to be too noisy at night. The space is small, about the size of a dorm room, but it was clean, had it’s own bathroom and shower and very convenient. There were one or two nights where an AC would have been nice but generally it cooled down pretty fast after sunset."

"The owner is so rude and looks like the property is scam!!!! She kicked us out after one hour after check in .We asked for help Expedia!!! Costumer service helped us find different places…. But was very nervous situation!! We paid for the hotel months before and we had confirmation number.Be careful with the place!!!!! "

Die Besitzerin ist sehr freundlich und ich habe mich mehr wie ein Gast als Kunde gefühlt. Mein Schlafzimmer war sehr geräumig und das Bett bequem. Das Badezimmer war zwar nicht en Suite aber war hat gut funktioniert. Das Frühstück war nicht inkludiert (12.50 EUR) ist aber es wert, weil sehr lecker und üppig. Man braucht danach kaum mehr etwas zum Mittag zu...

"Foi horrível, não recomendo a ninguém mesmo. Pagamos pelo pequeno almoço e quando chegamos não existia e não nos reembolsaram. Nas fotos que envio existe a comprovação de que deveria existir pequeno almoço. Não limpam os quartos. Não mudam as toalhas da casa de banho. Não são disponíveis para os clientes. Até papel higiênico tivemos que pedir pois não existia. Encontramos o quarto com areia no chão e pó com areia debaixo da cama. Não existe ar condicionado. A pior residencial que estive. Não vão...

"La anfitriona muy agradable, desayuno correcto, muy cerca de Silves, pueblo muy bonito, pocas habitaciones, piscina, entorno, animales, muy acogedor, perfecto para ir en familia, un poco dificil de llegar con GPS, aunque esta a pie de carretera. "

"Lovely villa with character. Large shared living space. Rooms large - twin on ground floor 2 en suite rooms one almost a mezzanine and one accessed through a separate door outside the building. We didn’t try the sauna or pool as it was February. Kitchen has everything to cater for a large group with a big dining table.Log burner was fantastic.Great location halfway up the valley side above Monchique."
