Checkout I believe is 11am but Expedia said noon, so the concierge came up and was telling us we didn't have the time we thought we did. They were perfectly pleasant but it forced me to pack quickly. "This is a lovely, small hotel only a 2 minute walk from Monastiraki square and metro station, with loads of restaurants and shops around. We felt very safe here. We were upgraded on arrival to a room with Acropolis view. The room had everything we could need including coffee and wine! The staff on reception were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was brilliant. The only reason for 4* rather than 5* is the quality of sleep. The hotel is next door to Little Kook, which draws quite a crowd...

"Upon arrival we were given a small room with windows looking at a wall. Room lighting was bad, bath fan made terrible noise, and room like a closet. The next morning I explained to staff, in which they were nice and inderstanding. To solve this problem we were given another room across the street (308) which was just great. A beautiful view of the Acropolis, large with everything working. Looked recently remodeled. So we had a great 5 day stay. This place is the perfect location to everything....

"Service and staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast selection was great and changed each day. Ordered double bed but was provided twin singles that moved. So you had to re arrange often. Could be difficult for some people to find the hotel. Good view of acropolis from the roof. "
