"Gums and Roses was such a gem to find in the Adelaide Hills! We loved the tiny house; small but has everything you could need, and in the perfect location. Perfect for watching the horses and kangaroos and close to the pubs if you're after a meal at night. Our host was so nice and let us come and meet her horses which was great. "We have stayed at many places on the river and this property is a new favourite. Lots of thoughtful touches, beautiful location and a lovely place. Great for a large group or two families. We will be back. The owners are also great communicators and were very understanding when we had to shuffle dates. Thank you!"

"It was a lovely property but no communication with the property manager. Got stuck in the gate lock was rusty and they said they couldn't come help and it is what it is "

"Easy to enjoy. Staying in a renovated 160 year old building was great. The modern comforts of heating and cooling ensured a great stay. Help was close at hand but not in the way. Could not fault this place. The connection with history was still there in pictures and stories. Looking forward to June 2025 when this BnB features on television."

"Had a great stay! Bed very comfortable. Everything there that we needed! Close to shops and restaurants. Lovely spot! Room ticked all the boxes except there was something going on with wet area on carpet in front to bathroom door. Initially thought it was from bathroom but after 2 days realised there must be a pipe broken under the floor! Apart from that everything was prefect "

"Nothing to fault with the room with a kitchenette. Their complimentary breakfast for our Longview suite was excellent. Staff were helpful, despite a wedding reception happening. These modern units are really good with a comfy bed n great showers with all the necessary amenities. Nice to stroll n see the public area of the winery"
