"The manager at the reception made everything about the start cheery and positive (originally from South Africa). She is very helpful towards all guests. This is a fine hotel - listened to the live Irish music they had in the bar. Wonderful!"

"What a treat! Beautiful upscale B&B in the heart of kilarney. Amazing service and food. Bar onsite was fantastic too. Great cocktails! Did I mention there is an ancient church and cemetery across the street?! This hotel is a ten min drive to downtown Killarney with some great pubs and restaurants and a short drive to all the amazing Killarney national park spots. Awesome experience!! "

"Our stay at Kenmare Bay Hotel was pleasant. The staff are very nice. Our room and bath were clean and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast and dinner options are very good. The hotel is within a 3 minute walk from the center of Kenmare, which has numerous restaurants and shops. We did have a problem with the heat. "The best hotel stay in a long time thanks to manager Brian Budhlaeir. Our suite was so spacious, comfortable, clean and homely. It even had a christmas tree. There was live music on the piano during dinner, mulled wine and games. The atmosphere in the Aghadoe was so relaxing and we cannot wait to return."

"Great location, wonderful property...We booked a twin room and were upgraded to a room with two double beds. It was a very large room, with a lovely tub/shower combo. We absolutely loved the towel warming rack (as it was raining and chilly) and the staff were so warm and welcoming. What a treat and a great price too. It is so close to the centre of things in Killarney that we could walk everywhere. I highly recommend you stay here."

"This property was perfect! We were a group of 5, so we utilized the apart hotel. It was spacious and clean, allowed us to have communal space and private sleeping. Dining at the restaurant was fantastic. Jason was our server and he was amazing. Food was great, only a short 10 min walk to the Muckross Abbey and a breath taking lake. Hotel views bolstered mountains in the morning. Wonderful staff, we did not have time to utilize the spa but it looked beautiful. "

Ceim house was my own home We had happy years living in our ancestral house.

Heavenly Experience

"I have visited Ireland over 40 times over the last 50 years. I have stayed at hotels, B&Bs, and have rented houses from Fanah Head to Mizen Head. This Ceim House in the Black Valley is the absolute best! The hostess/owner, Agnes, could not do more to make every second of our stay quite memorable. In short, if you want to combine a once in a lifetime experience that combines the magic of the Irish countryside with the warmth of the Irish people, book a week at the Ceim House!"

Lovely family holiday

"On arrival we were all surprised by the size of the property, it's light and spacious. It has a lovely feel to it. The only thing we missed was comfortable garden furniture , the picnic table is the only thing and that's not particularly comfy. Beds really comfy. Kitchen well stocked. Good WiFi. Smart tv.. We had a great holiday. The locatio is very quiet. We don't play golf, the house is probably better suited to people who do as it is located on the golf coutse, but it isn't essential 😉..............................."

"We stayed in this beautiful house last week. It felt as if staying with friends or family, Eithne was so welcoming and helpful when we arrived. The house is so well equipped and the owners had left dishwasher tabs, surface spray, tin foil etc this was so helpful. Thank you. The house is clean and comfortable, electricity & fuel use is paid at the end of the holiday, which I thought was a very good idea in these times when we should be conserving energy. You won’t go wrong booking this beautiful house in a beautiful area."

Perfect location

"House is a short drive to Killarney National Park, and in a rural area. There’s a small convenience store right next door, owned by the home owner. The owner, himself, is very welcoming. If we are ever to travel to the area again, I wouldn’t hesitate to book again."
