"It was an absolute pleasure to stay here. The hosts were charming and attentive. It was fun to talk with them and the other guests, and the breakfast (made specially for each guest) was some of the best food I had while in the UK. On the way to the B&B, there was an accident in the middle of Linlithgow cutting off all traffic through the town and I had no idea how to get through to the B&B. "We stayed here a few nights to visit Edinburgh in festival month. The owner is very welcoming and friendly; but the standard is disappointing by today's standards. A dog seemed to have stayed in the room before us (she takes pets) which needed more thorough airing and cleaning. The room had a slightly tired feeling. The setting is lovely and it is handy for Edinburgh - 30 mins by car and a good train service from nearby Linlithgow."

"Unterkunft sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Im ganzen Haus liegt alter staubiger Teppichboden aus. Zimmer sehr altbacken. Leider war der Wasserkocher so alt und/oder nicht richtig gereinigt, dass sich das Material am Boden gelöst hat und Schimmel darin war auch nicht auszuschließen. Eigentümerin hatte mich herfahren und parken sehen, kam aus ihrem Cottage heraus und lief an mir vorbei ohne zu warten oder grüßen. Sie wusste genau, dass ich ein Gast des Hauses bin. Etwas sonderbar."

"Soon as we arrived the 2 gents in reception were great. The tall older gentleman in the grey jacket was a lovely guy and greeted both my daughters brilliantly and was very helpful and took plenty time for any questions we had. We normally stay in the premier inn as never heard of this aparthotel before but will definitely be stay again as the room was amazing a home from home and so handy for shops and a few bits from the shops for the kids.
