"What a great little hotel run by very nice and accommodating people. They go out of their way to make you feel welcome, the rooms are basic but clean, and several have excellent views of the Matterhorn. Nice little breakfast area and outdoor garden. Would recommend and return. "

"This is a good option for staying in Zermatt. A sort of traditional European hotel, two twin beds, small rooms, most rooms have to share shower and toilet with other rooms on the floor. A bit of a walk from the station. You actually check in at the modern hotel nearby. But overall, if you are looking for basics when enjoying the scenic outdoors of Zermatt, this is fine. Not really a romantic or business hotel. "

"Our experience at Monte Rosa has been exceptional. The location is walkable from Zermatt station. But the staff were the highlight of this hotel. They were super nice and very helpful.and it’s not a single person but the entire staff from front desk to room service to restaurant staff. Our room was very clean and spacious and I would definitely stay at Monte Rosa again and would strongly recommend anyone visiting to Zermatt."

"Very nice hotel. The check-in was not pleasant as the staff insisted they would not commence check in for all guests until exactly 3 pm. Thus there were 6-7 parties lining up to check in at the same time. The room was very large and nicely set up. The full breakfast was excellent. Overall, this stay was of good value,"
