Otherwise, it'll cost you a considerable amount of money via the Gornergrat Railway (15 USD every time). This adds up quickly if you decide to visit the town (to eat, shop and etc). "We have really enjoyed staying in Berenice apartment during Christmas Holiday. The apartment is located at a wonderful location with a stunning view of the Matterhorn. "The apartment I was given was clean, well equipped and had an amazing view…not sure if this ‘view’ is guaranteed so I will refrain from saying what the view was but you can guess. Couldn’t fault the accommodation we were placed in. Nice to see the apartment block had a quiet time (10pm till 6am) this was respected when we were there so we had 4 good night sleeps. "
