"This is a lovely spot just off the Ponte Vecchio. I would have given this property 5 stars except there are two things to be aware of: 1) If you have a car, you need to park in one of the garages that are between a .1-.3 mile walk away. You also need to make a reservation on your own at the garage. We were not able to do this because the reservation needed a plate number. When we arrived the garage the property recommended was full. "We thoroughly enjoyed this beautiful cottage, which has been lovingly built and maintained by Carlo. It is close enough to Florence for easy day trips - a car is recommended for convenient access to the property, but there is ample free parking in a nearby town to head downtown by bus. Accommodations were very comfortable, we made good use of the fridge and convection cooktop, and the views are unmatched. Carlo was kind and quick to respond with any questions we had. "The place was everything we wanted and more. The perfect size house, beautiful grounds and pool, and I can’t imagine a better town (San Casciano) to be based out of. Sonia was the most wonderful host, giving us amazing information about the town and things to do in the area that we would have not found otherwise. We can’t recommend this place more highly!!!!"

"So disappointed with this accommodation it had the potential to be a great experience. But the air conditioning did not work at the height of summer and the communication with the company was bad and not helpful. A big disappointment for the money paid."

"Very quiet place off the beaten track. You need a car to get to town. Owner was very nice and helpful. Apartment is small but has everything that is needed. To get to the bath room at night is a little challenging but we managed. We would rent it again if we come to the area."
