The location was ideal, just steps from the water, and full of the quiet magic of village life (we even heard donkeys passing by in the morning!). Our host, who lived upstairs, was kind, welcoming, and truly embodied the spirit of the town. A helpful man at the entrance assisted with our bags for a small tip, which made arrival easy—especially since no cars are allowed and the only way around is via winding stairs. The space was perfect for both kids and adults, and we’d absolutely stay here again. "

"Situated almost immediately by the bridge to the island, AKTAION Hotel was quite comfortable, and well positioned for restaurants. My room was one of the smaller ones, but it’s balcony faced the island and the sea. I would most happily stay there again if the opportunity occurs. "
