"Wonderful location with splendid views over river from large room. We extended to 8 nights so obviously good but tiny tiny wardrobe so clothes around room. However , we saw other rooms had much larger later so should have asked to change. Excellent overall"

"Beautiful hotel. Stayed here as we were attending a wedding. Very informative of the local area. Clean, tidy and beautiful rooms! We stayed in room 101- it is gorgeous with a little terraced outside. Friendly staff. Highly recommend the hotel and the area. Perfect location, lots of coffee shops near by. On the Saturday they had a food market right outside the hotel, then on the Sunday a mixed market. Friendly locals and beautiful setting! "

"This property was OK for us though we couldn't arrive before 1730. Dan did let us leave our bikes while we went off to find somewhere to have a drink. We felt very much that we were living in someone else's house e.g. the bathroom had all of the owners stuff still in it. Breakfast was fine. Usually French fare."

"Serge was a great host and assisted us throughout. Thought accommodation was nearly new and surprised to hear it had been converted nearly 10 years! The pool was readily available….even in the mixed weather conditions! A slightly bigger breakfast choice would be our only -ve, but it was always fresh."

"La Coquille is beautiful, Florian is a perfect host, our stay was very pleasant. Just be aware that the property is advertised on Expedia as having a private bathroom - this is not the case."
