"My wife and I loved this absolutely amazing hotel. Very quaint and intimate. The staff was wonderful and very welcoming. We decided to stay another day because it was so lovely. "

"we did late-check-in. but the way that pass the key was really irresponsible and NOT safe, I think. I didnt realize her contact & 24hour contact didn't work, so we took long time to check-in (Guimaraes might be a safe place, but...😥😫) Also "the reception opens at 10am" is too late. the price is really reasonable if guests don't do late-check-in. "

"Our GPS had trouble finding this property in the Porto city center. The sign identifying the property is very small, but with 4 of us, we found it. Ricky was very helpful in riding with us to park our car which ended up being quite easy. Our room was adequate with needed amenities. The breakfast room was unique, and we were served breads, cheeses, and fruit; no hot entrees. "

"This guest house is very simple. It has a beautiful stair case and no elevator. It's central location in the city is excellent, but obviously there can be noisy people in the streets and city noise. There are several coffee and breakfast places within a 5 minute walk. The beds were more comfortable than usual. The shower had hot water. For the price I paid, I was satisfied."

"1. Excellent location! Within walking distance to many great tourist spots, the main train station, and several good restaurants. 2. We booked a room for four, and it provided almost everything we needed. It came with a well-equipped modern kitchen facilities in the room, a comfortable bed, a flat-screen TV, big windows, big toilet, hot water, and air conditioning, which was especially helpful since it was very cold in January. 3. "This is a lovely boutique hotel, minutes walk uphill from soa bento rain station. It is hidden in plain sight, and even the police a block away could not find it. Marianne, the owner , is wonderful, and helpful. Breakfast was cooked to order, and the bed was fabulous. We were walking distance from everything. It is very quiet at night, even though near a busy street. "

"Great location, in the center, famous restaurants are nearby. We had a more than 700 square feet suite, quite spacious with a balcony facing the street and a terrace at the backyard. Unfortunately, we didn’t get a chance to use the terrace due to winter cold season. "

Amazing stay…. No questions asked!

"This has to be one of the nicest hotels we have stayed in. From the moment we arrived; the staff were extremely friendly and courteous; as soon as the door opens they are greeting you (every day) it was a nice gesture. They cannot do enough for you. The room was spotless, and the cleaners were back and fore all day, checking the water in the room and if we needed more. The lounge area for the bar was peaceful and staff were attentive and helpful when choosing a drink. The spa area and gym we used once and this was so relaxing. The pool was lovely temperature and was heated inside and out, the gym was small but had a few bits to use. We didn’t make use of treatments but they seemed good. On to the breakfast, WOW! The choices were out of this world, fresh fruit juices, fruit, yogurt bowls plentiful pastries and cakes, hot food, but also freshly made eggs benedict, avo on toast or omelettes, and these were a complete treat. I would highly recommend this hotel, the welcome from staff; the food, the cleanliness and the overall quality of service and comfort. We will definitely stay here again without a doubt. Thanks to all the staff "

"It very clean and spacious. Their staff are the real star. We were there to celebrate our wedding anniversary and thy left a small cake and bottle of wine in our room. Daily in the evening they would come and ask if you needed anything, like water tea etc. Breakfast was top notch with plenty of variety.. I will highly recommend it and will stay again on our next visit "
