"A weird mix, to start, it is a beautiful spot with lovely views next door to an old church. Nice warm welcome, lovely clean, comfortable room. The bed was comfortable, the area very quiet so expect a good sleep! There is a nice note about the new staff working so please be patient, but some basics were just missed. "The hotel was a joy to stay at. The staff are fabulous and Nicole at breakfast was so lovely. The food was really good and would recommend the Argento rose as a perfect end to the day. The bar staff would look after an open bottle for us in the fridge. The rooms were so comfortable and the bathroom was perfect and clean. I am definitely coming back on my next visit to Dartmoor. Thank you to all the staff for creating a welcoming hotel."

"This is a lovely hotel with separate rooms from the pub. The dinners and breakfasts were excellent as was the service. Yealmpton is conveniently located on the A379 although with my room being on the ground floor I had to keep the curtain closed and it was a little noisy at commuter time.
