Great Mountain Stay
This was a quiet little mountain cabin that was perfect for our visit to Moab and the Canyonlands. Cabin had everything we needed and the host responded to our question quickly. Would definitely recommend staying here is you are looking for a peaceful place to stay with a gorgeous view!

Very secluded and peaceful! The evening visit by the herd of mule deer was icing on the cake! Enjoyed our stay very much and would definitely recommend this location!

Mountain retreat above it all
We came to Moab to hike, mountain bike and enjoy the desert. This was a great home base outside the fray of Moab where we really could enjoy the peace and beauty of the mountains. The kitchen is a bit rustic but has most of what you need; we also took advantage of the grill and the fire pit, which was great. We’d absolutely stay here again.

So glad we found this cabin. Being away from town was awesome and the views are spectacular! The drive wasn't bad at all. We had everything we needed, plus some, great host. If we are out this way again we would definitely stay again!!

Stayed here with the family. Very clean. Very easy check-in/out. Gorgeous views, sunsets, and stargazing. No cell service at the house, but wi-fi worked well. As advertised. Would recommend to others.

These are the words my wife used to describe the cabin. “It’s just excellent!” We had a spectacular time. It’s just far enough away from MOAB city to attain some peace and quite after a day’s activities. We will for sure come back.

Great cabin in the foothills on the La Sal Mountain loop just outside of Moab. It was about a 30-minute drive on paved roads. This allowed us to avoid the crowds while gas, groceries, and attractions were still nearby. It’s peaceful up there. Great sunsets and start watching. Lots of wildlife. The property was dog friendly which was great. The kitchen was well-equipped, and we slept well. It was a fun trip.

Seclusion in hills above Moab
My husband and brother and his wife enjoyed our stay in Pioneer Cabin #2 for 3 nights while we visited Arches and Canyonlands Natuonal Parks. Cabin was very clean and comfortable. Disappointed that there were only 2 mismatched wine glasses for 4 adults and no wine bottle opener. Handrails up the steps to the front door would be helpful for us as we are in our 60's. Overall, we enjoyed our time.

Serenity Now
Beautiful, peaceful, calming, just as advertised. It was the perfect getaway. It was everything we needed in a private rural type of location. The house was so cute, clean and quaint. Amazing views. Stayed outside majority of the stay. So quiet. The view from the upstairs bedroom was awesome. Just as a side note, the bathroom is located on the first floor and the king bed master bedroom is on the top floor. It was a little inconvenient to go downstairs in the middle of the night, but not a big deal. I understand there’s only so much space. Nevertheless, everything was wonderful. Enjoyed our stay tremendously. Thank you.

We selected this vacation rental cabin because it was up in the La Sal Mountains and very rustic. In fact, they market it that way. All around it is BLM and state lands. We had a few teens who wanted to sleep in tents while the adults slept in the cabin. No where on this listing did it say that tents were not allowed on this property. However, the owner stopped by and told us that tents are not allowed at her Rustic Cabin way up in the La Sal Mountains and asked us to leave. She admired we were clean and quiet yet still asked us to leave her property because we put up tents. Very lame!!! So, we left and will be asking for our money back from VRBO!!!

Perfect family vacation
This cabin was just what we were looking for. We wanted to be secluded but still pretty close to the city of Moab. The drive up to the cabin was so pretty. We enjoyed seeing the wildlife in the evenings and the stars at night. The beds were comfortable and the cabin was the perfect size for our family of four. My daughter also loved seeing all of the humming birds at the feeder. She even bought a stuffed humming bird as her souvenir from Arches National Park. 10/10 recommend for anyone wanting to be outside of the hustle and bustle from town.

Mountain Serenity
Pioneer Cabin 2 was incredibly peaceful with spectacular mountain views. In addition to cooler temperatures it was great to head to the mountains and escape the hustle/bustle of Moab after full days of hiking. The cabin was comfortable, spotless and perfectly appointed...the washer/dryer was a huge bonus, particularly after hot and dusty hikes! Having the opportunity to view the amazing sunsets and moon risings from 2 decks was awesome, as well as watching the hummingbirds. We felt as if we really had found a "gem" with this property. Looking forward to coming back again soon!

It’s a bit of a drive from of downtown Moab, but it is worth it!! The views are fantastic and you can actually hear bees buzzing because it’s so quiet. Exactly what we are looking for. We will stay again!

The cabin is nice with all of the amenities you would want. Although it's location is off the beaten path the view of mountains and the view of the valley is extrtaordinary.
