"We stayed in a Casita that was very nice and spacious, it is a beautiful property. The only thing was our shower handles would go around and around so we didn't know when to stop for the hot water, and the tub shower sprayer was stuck on until after our shower. I only got in the public Jacuzzi but it looked like it could use a bit of a scrub where the chlorine was built up."

"Ownership has clearly changed hands (it's now in the Marriott empire), and much of the hotel was under construction, which made us worry. But they gave us a serious upgrade, to a 2br cabin, which was delightful and really appreciated. All the staff were really friendly and eager to please too, from front office to cleaners to restaurant staff. Pity there's no more painting classes and such, but it's still in one of the most beautiful areas, and I'll be excited to see what it looks like after all...

"We visited at the end of December, which is off season. We were the only guests. The staff took us on hikes and made dinner, lunch, and breakfast just for us. They were fully staffed as it is a working ranch. Rooms were excellent directly facing the river. The setting is magnificent with huge mountains and mesas surrounding the property. We loved it and the team there. "
