Nestled in a stunning 1898 building, recently refurbished to perfection, it effortlessly combines historical grandeur with modern comforts. From the moment I stepped in, the atmosphere was mesmerizing, with elegant candelabras casting a warm glow and luxurious carpets adorning the floors. The soaring high ceilings add to the sense of space and opulence. The room was impeccable, featuring a mattress that ensured a blissful night’s sleep and a shower that felt like a spa experience. The service was flawless—attentive, friendly, and professional throughout my stay. Breakfast was a highlight: a delectable spread of fresh and flavorful options that catered to every taste. Conveniently located directly opposite the central train station, the hotel also offers the rare luxury of free and easy parking, making it a perfect choice for travelers. Whether you're here for business or leisure, Hotel Europa is a destination in itself. I can’t wait to return!"

"Standard double room advertised as much bigger, see photos e.g. with armchair and desk space. In reality, there is no armchair and desk available, apart from of the TV's, so the room is definitely smaller, e.g. the one you see under twin bed room. Some of the spaces will need some improvement in the next few years, but still a 4/5. Apart from this, I am very satisfied, clean, silent, and well equipped spaces, great kitchen ( food quality), the Wellness suit is AMAZING. And the Staff is brilliant, caring and helpful. The location of the hotel is totally perfect, 2-3mins to the train and bus stations, the food store and literally on the way to the cable cars/ ski lifts from the station. I also recommend the Tourism Centre (Tourinform) in front of the hotel and the Norwegian sports equipment store next to the hotel. The stay left me with memories I will cherish for a lifetime and thanks for the Aplend's Staff for this."

"Wonderful hotel. Close to hiking trails, restaurants. Very accommodating. Walked out to meet taxi for us at 0430am on our departure and packed a breakfast for us to take with us. "

"The only thing I did not like about it is that you need to pay 80 Euros to use hot tub every time , plus dress code to go to dinner . "

"It was “okay” we found some children’s clothing under the couch so cleaning is probably not the best. The kitchen utensils were flimsy and not strong enough to do much with. The location is good. Not a lot of parking either, pool is available for 1 euro per room. "

"Super miejce. Wracamy w nie ponownie i za kazdym razem nam sie podoba. Bardzo mila obsluga zwlaszcza pan ze srodowej wieczornej zmiany ale nie tylko. Mila obsluga w restauracji. Super centrum spa i bardzo smaczne sniadanie. Napewno wrocimy tutaj znowu."
