"We were here for one night as a stopover on the way into the High Tatras. Our double room was spacious and clean. Check in was quick and easy, and staff were pleasant. We had laundry that we needed done, and they were very accommodating in fulfilling our request. Additionally, we were able to have access to a fridge, which we really appreciated. "The room was a nice size to accommodate our family of five. It wasn’t really dirty, but we did find a couple of cigarette butts under things. The biggest problem was that the hotel and restaurant staff were done super early. So, we didn’t have any dinner options after 6pm. There was nothing within reasonable walking distance and we couldn’t remove our car from the parking lot without an employee to let us back into the locked parking lot. "

"Very nice and friendly staff. Place is very nice and modern although in classic Polish Highlander style. Food was excellent and there was no problem to accommodate different diatary needs. There is an great spa in the basement with sauna and salt cave to relax. "

"We had a lovely stay. Staff was very friendly and helpful, location is very good if you want to explore the mountains. Lidl is a few mins away by car. We really appreciated the electric radiator in the bathroom as we could do some basic laundry during our stay. "

"Really nice property, modern. great location, facilities really nice. cleaning before hand can be better checked, found a pan that wasnt cleaned and had left over food from previous people, and wall next to aircon in the bedroom was falling off"

"Standard double room advertised as much bigger, see photos e.g. with armchair and desk space. In reality, there is no armchair and desk available, apart from of the TV's, so the room is definitely smaller, e.g. the one you see under twin bed room. Some of the spaces will need some improvement in the next few years, but still a 4/5. Apart from this, I am very satisfied, clean, silent, and well equipped spaces, great kitchen ( food quality), the Wellness suit is AMAZING. And the Staff is brilliant, caring and helpful. The location of the hotel is totally perfect, 2-3mins to the train and bus stations, the food store and literally on the way to the cable cars/ ski lifts from the station. I also recommend the Tourism Centre (Tourinform) in front of the hotel and the Norwegian sports equipment store next to the hotel. The stay left me with memories I will cherish for a lifetime and thanks for the Aplend's Staff for this."

It’s okay, not the best not the worst

"It was “okay” we found some children’s clothing under the couch so cleaning is probably not the best. The kitchen utensils were flimsy and not strong enough to do much with. The location is good. Not a lot of parking either, pool is available for 1 euro per room. "
