"Some things to consider: Bed cubicles are cozy and private. Building is quiet. Only one bathroom (one shower, one toilet, two sinks) for men. Double that for women, as they are allowed to use the "men" bathroom also. Staff did not speak much English. About 15 minutes walk to Hakata, the closest subway/train station. Payment at the hostel is cash only. Check in required before 8 pm without previous arrangement for late arrival."

"잠귀가 예민하지 않아 편하게 쉬고 나왔습니다. 문소리가 꽤 큰편이라서 이어플러그 가지고 가시면 좋을 것 같아요. 일층에서 올라가지만 다른 일층으로 샤워실 및 세탁실을 갈 수 있습니다. 수압좋아서 샤워하기 좋았어요. 방번호를 배정받지 못해서 라인으로 연락드렸는데, 바로 이층으로 나오셔서 친절하게 응대해주셨습니다. 또 온다면 연박할정도로 좋았어요."

"Very noisy, in the middle of the night I can hear the noise of carry case, toilet water, flashing water, talking around my room all night. My private room has no window and very tiny room. I cancel the next day stay due to the noise, Theo gave me very hard time. "

"The beds are comfortable. I was in the 8 person dorm room. Each bed had a full privacy curtain, an outlet, light, a small safe, two hooks and two hangers. One down note is there really wasnt anywhere to hang your towel. There was plenty of space under the bed for backpacks and suitcases. The staff is very nice! The common area is good for meeting new travelers and there is always coffee (instant) available."

"The space is pretty small for 6-people room, way more smaller. It is like the smaller version of college dormitory. But it's sufficient if you're not in a hurry. Plus, its location is very close to Tenjin station. And considering the price, it's decent enough. The owner/staff (I've only seen one, not sure) of the hotel is responsive and nice. Overall, happy face! :)"

"I wouldn't recommend this hostel, even though it's very new and in very clean conditions. I visited Fukuoaka during the corona virus outbreak, and as a person with Asian/Chinese descent I feel like the check-in staff were extremely unfriendly to me. Further, I was booked into the shared dormitory, which I would strongly suggest avoiding because there's around 18 people couped into one room. Would recommend another place where there's less people in a room (eg. 8 room dorm) because there are...

"This hostel felt like it was built in an old warehouse. The public space was tidy, and the servce was as good as you can expect in Japan. However, the photos don't show it all. Even though the walls seem tidy in their white colour, the ceiling has been left as it is — plain concrete with some pipe ends here and there. On top of all this, there is no proper sound insulation. "If you want to have a bad hostel experience, this is it. They are currently under renovation so fascilities could improve. Staff was very friendly but apart from that the sheets smelled like body odor and sweat! I dont think they change the sheets! "The apartment is well located and vonvenient - it's a 8 minute walk to the Hakata Station. It is true to description but well equipped especially thd kitchen. Thr bathroom was excellent as it's modern and thr ling bath is superb. Management was super helpful and responsive to every query andvrequest we made. Value for money. "

A quality hotel at a very convenient location

"Solaria Nishitetsu Hotel is located next to the Nishitetsu Tenjin station where you can take trains to suburbs of Fukuoka. And its very close to the Fukuoka subway station, where you can travel around the city easily. There are a lot of shopping places and nice food (including famous ramen places) nearby. Plus it is not as busy as the Hakata train station area, we find it very convenient yet it still gives us a quiet and comfy space to rest after a long day. Service is good, breakfast is nice with enough choices, highly recommended and will definitely consider to stay in this hotel again in the future."

"I rated this hotel excellent as the room is large and equipped with Dyson equipment and also coffee maker. The staff is polite and helpful and even the cleaning ladies are well mannered. The only thing that I do not like is that the room is not bright enough though all the light is turned on. "
