"The hotel is clean, and the area is great. I didn't´t mind so much that there is not private toilette in the rooms. What bothered me a bit is that you here the other rooms quite well. But the big dissapointment was the service at the breakfast. I can understand that it is a "privat" hotel, and every guest goes to the one table in the kitchen, everything being a bit like invading someones home. "Loved the warm greeting from owner, and a great breakfast. Very comfortable bed in quite room overlooking town square and 1700's church. Good bathroom but small. Kitchen has good appliances, but no coffee making, and cups without handles so hot to hold. Short walk to bank and to main street including good quality low cost Italian restaurant! "The house was as described, clean, easy to access to nearest towns. It was about 45 to 50 minutes to Hamburg. They had a lovely cat which treated as on our arrival and when we left. The house is on the river which made our holiday superb. We had our tea every morning in the garden. The house was warm, had a great bath and a modern kitchen."
