"Lovely house, garden and locality. Access to the beach was easier to walk to the end of the road and down the hill. Split your recycling and put in bags, saves the rubbish collectors opening all your bags to separate it!! The house is nice, plenty of room to have your own space. (There was 10 of us and a dog). "This cottage is listed as small but it was much bigger than expected and was perfect for 2adults, 2teenagers and a small dog. The kitchen had everything and was great for self catering. Literally behind the Main Street of Newquay but so quiet even at night. You can walk to all the beaches and Sainsburyā€™s just 30sec walk. "We had a lovely time at shell cottage myself husband 3 grown children 24,25 and 29 along with our 2 poochies. The cottage was all we could have wished for and more home from home. The EV charger made a massive difference to our stay not having to worry about charging in between. Just a short walk to 2 lovely beaches and a fantastic chippy literally a stone throw away. "Family of 5 adults normally presents a challenge to accommodate comfortably for a holiday, but not in this case. Prospect Cottage is a lovely family home packed with all the amenities that a family needs. Only a few minutes walk away from the magical Mevagissey harbour and an array of bars, cafes and chip shops! We had a magnificent stay and would recommend to anyone."

"Really lovely find, lovely property, very clean and well equipped. Would definitely stay here again. Only issue was trying to find the 'central area' to drop off our rubbish, only bin we could find was behind some barriers, so had to leave it outside the property. "Great place for a family get together. Plenty of room to spread out. Hot tub and games room were well used. The house is bright, modern and comfortable. Some of the double bedrooms were smaller than expected but fine overall. Beds were very comfortable. It was useful to have extra living space in the annexe. The lounge there became a temporary home office. One downside-the dishwasher was not adequate for the number of people staying at full occupancy. We spent too much time at the kitchen sink....
