"The lodge is a beautiful property. The people all seemed very friendly and helpful. We had a couple of issues. Our room was apparently directly below the bar, and the noise of voices and furniture moving was so loud we could hardly talk together. I don't suppose there's anything to be done about it, and it did end by 11 pm, somewhat past the bedtime of old folks like us. The other problem is squeaky door hinges. The door of the room next door was so loud that even my mostly deaf husband asked...

Riverside Retreat located on the Nottely River in the North Georgia Mountains.

Peace.

"Sometimes you just need to get away from the normal life and busyness at home. Sometimes you just need to breathe fresh air and slow down. This is the place if you want to do that! I spent hours on the back porch relaxing, and looking out over the river! My husband spent hours standing in the river fishing for trout-which we cooked and ate! I spotted two mallard ducks swimming in the river, a baby red eared turtle, a redheaded woodpecker, a hawk and many unique plants in the area. The property and home are very clean and had everything we needed: cookware and kitchen utensils, all the TV channels for watching movies at night, comfortable beds, really cool shower, easy check in and check out! I can’t say enough about this place-we are already looking forward to our next visit there."

"A group of us stayed here for a golf trip and had a great time. Beds are all good, AC was nice and cold, place was very clean & had good amenities. Great view of the mountains from the deck as well. "

Nottely & Nice - Riverfront, pet friendly, hot tub

Nice cabin, very well stocked.

"The home was nicely decorated and very well stocked. We had everything we needed to cook all meals. The card table had a great view and made for a nice afternoon at the cabin. The outdoor spaces were great. The property is on a busy highway that may have been extra busy because we visited during spring break. The robes were a nice touch and we were close to everything. "

Backyard is perfect for family time!

"My family and I really enjoyed our stay! The house is kept up well and has a cozy feeling. We loved the porch seats and eating at the porch table. The pavilion seating with cornhole and the grill was so nice to relax and around and enjoy the scenery. We loved grilling and sitting by the fire. We were able to walk down to the creek a few times and our kids loved that. It will be really nice when the path is completed and the gazebo was added. Great location to many different GA activities. Would love to visit again. The owner is very friendly and communicative and gives a personal touch, more then a management-company rental. "

"The creek behind the cabin lulls you to sleep. The furniture both inside and out is very comfortable. The cabin itself is very homey. Location is close to several towns as well as nature sights. Very relaxing. "

Comfortable Updated Quiet Cabin

"Overall, we had a very nice stay. We came down to have a quiet weekend. The cabin is comfortable with most of what we needed. The host is very good at communication and check in was a breeze. We recommend bringing your own coffee, food wraps and containers for left overs and hair products. The location is good and the creek looks very nice for warmer weather. We stayed in February. Check out procedures were easy with no surprises and we appreciate that. We would defined stay again. "
